LONDON COLNEY LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY
Hon Sec. Mrs Mavis Tuffnell, 6 Telford Road, London Colney, St Albans, Herts AL2 1PQ
Among our constitutional objectives we aim to stimulate interest of local history with public exhibitions, guest speakers, also producing a newsletter ‘The Record’ twice yearly, and to record documents, photographs and oral information.
The Society was founded in 1997 and the membership has grown gradually over the years.
At some time in the future it is envisaged that a book shall be produced, with the possibility of further volumes, telling of the heritage in pictures, of our village.

THE NORTH WEST CATHOLIC HISTORY SOCIETY promotes the study of the history of the Catholic Church in the region west of the Pennines.
