GUNPOWDER FACTORY STAFF BEFORE
1841
With a view to publication, Arthur Percival and colleagues at the Faversham
Society are compiling a list of all those known to have worked in gunpowder
factories in the British Isles (including Ireland) before 1841. Some who arrived
in the 1680s were Hugunot refugees. It will be much appreciated if readers who
know of any such (particularly forebears) will let him have full details, either

EAST HOATHLY and Halland
I have a long standing interest in the history of East Hoathly. I have on computer
all the parish registers and the census returns, plus miscellaneous information,
